As we enter May and the prom season hits full swing, high schoolers across the country are in a rush to get their hair appointments set, their outfits picked out and their limos secured. Sure, everyone wants to look their best on prom night, but some people have the courage to get a little more creative than the standard tuxedos and sherbet-colored dresses.

We're talking awesome outfits, ridiculous "dates" (we're looking at you, X-Box kid) and some of the most outlandish themes we've ever seen. These unconventional prom-goers thought outside the box for the big night, and we commend them for it.
